Marsh butterfly lily from South Africa. In the blood root family, check out the roots which are a brilliant brightest orange! It is a large to very large evergreen plant with fluted leaves. 60–100cm high when flowering. Hardy and easy. It does look messy in winter in heavy frosts, but it comes back just fine. Golden yellow flower spires in summer. Adds a tropical look. Drought tolerant.
