Veronica (Heliohebe) x 'Fairfield'

Check out NZPCN NZ Plant Conservation Network, a great website for natives

A cross between V. hulkeana × V. lavaudiana. This smaller (60cm) shrub is a light, airy evergreen with wavy edged, grass green foliage. In October branches extend above the plant and yield impressive small 30cm panicles of pink buds that open to light lavender/pink. (The indoor photo is a bit too pink), It's another outstanding showy effect, loved by pollinators. Full sun or part shade or even facing south on a building or under a sparse tree. Fairy drought tolerant when established.
