Tulipa saxatilis possibly syn. T. bakeri

Greece/Turkey. An incredibly showy and long-lasting species tulip. It is wonderful mixed together with Narcissus and Muscari. These are stoloniferous tulpis and so spread themselves. Pink with yellow centers, bright shiny green leaves 30-40cm tall. Easy in an open sunny, woodland setting or in sandy, rocky soil. I've never had them as quite densely as in this photo though. I am waiting until flowering again soon, just love them.
