Tagetes lemmonii

An interesting bright yellow flowered herb/small shrub to mix into plantings and beds. It flowers over such a long period that it is hardly ever without a flower. It is evergreen unless you have frosts which cut it down to the ground. Trim to the ground and she is away again. Sun 70cm x 70cm.

 From the southwestern United States and northern Mexico for example in canyons and scrublands at elevations between 1000 to 2500m. The plant was discovered by the plant collectors John and Sara Lemmon in the late 1800s in Arizona.
