Stachys byzantina 'Silver carpet'

Lamb's Ears  is a wonderful evergreen perennial, mostly grown for its rich rosettes of showy, velvety, silvery tongue-shaped leaves. This one has darker grey leaves and smaller too, rarely flowers which is a bonus for a retry ground cover. Grown for their foliage alone the leaves are excellent in floral art. Sun or part shade low growing and slowly spreads. Trim after flowering. Very hardy and drought tolerant. Easy.
