Scilla peruviana

Portugal, Spain, Southern Italy, but not Peru! Robust and showy with large, slightly mauve tinted blue, flowering stems up to 40 cm Sun or shade, an easy seriously impressive clump forming mat of tangled leaves that suppress weeds.  Flowers for around 3 weeks. 

Available dormant in early summer- early winter. Only a few in large pots otherwise.
