Scandia rosifolia

Native to the North Island. Koheriki, Rose-leaved anise.or Native angelica. Currently declining in the wild. Do your bit and grow it. Semi-erect to somewhat openly sprawling, woody, aromatic shrub up to 1 × 1 m. Stems much-branched, woody at base, dark green to yellow green when young. Many uses for herbal medicine. Coastal to subalpine. Usually on cliff faces, clay banks or amongst boulders, often found along cliffs lining river gorges Little white flower clusters. Full or part sun required. Seems very adaptable and make a lovely pot subject, here facing south however the flowering is quite subdued in this position. Evergreen up to 80cm.
