Saxifraga cuneifolia

Similar to, but leaves less shield shaped, than the lesser Londonpride. This plant is small and yet extremely tough, tolerating almost any neglect. I have used it in troughs with succulents like Sempervivums to great effect. The flowers are small and white on long stalks... its the foliage and the small plant-lets leaping from the rosette that are interesting.  First photo in winter, second, spring shows little plant-lets appearing.
