Primula clarkei

I have nearly lost it, so none available for a while. Like all primulas they can get root aphids...

Tight tiny wee clumps of early pink. One for troughs and pots as otherwise you will loose it ... Flowers look the same as many others, but these have stems or petioles in comparison to  Primula warshenewskyana.

This species is from the Western Himalayas. Bright pink flowers appear very early spring. Perfect for a miniature garden. 3-5cm. Moist and cool. Deciduous.

P. clarkei has more rounded leaves and is a tighter clump, whereas P. warshenewskyana is a runner. Check them both out.
