Primula marginata 'Marven'

A wonderful hardy little gem. This 'Ethel Barker' and 'Blairside Yellow' are my favs. They aren't flashy, but they are stayers as well as petite which makes them a collectors choice. Some UK nurseries show Marven with a very bright eye, this Hokonui version, isn't quite as contrasting with the mauve. The lovely toothed leaf margins add interest, as does the pale green foliage coated with a silvery powder. Perhaps its photoshopped?  Not a very good picture from me at this stage.
