A subulata or creeping Phlox ushers in spring vibrantly with its star-shaped, large deep magenta-pink blooms. A drought-tolerant evergreen, this perennial ground cover creates a dense mat of needle-like foliage. Good in tricky areas like steep banks and rock. Magnificent planted with other species to form a mosaic of colour in spring.
