The Tibetan or yellow tree peony, grows about a metre tall with multiple stems. Produces bold, large yellow flowers in spring, freely self-seeding to brighten sun or part-shade spots year after year.
Tibetan Tree Peony / Yellow Tree Peony. Lutea is the common name, but incorrect. Easly grown in sun or part shade, almost a weed, it seeds about freely and you will have new plants to share. Like all peonies the seeds take 2-3 years to develop into shoots and leaves you would call a plant! About 1m tall, with multiple stems and in spring bold, big yellow flowers.
