A great addition to the arsenal of "grasses" available in New Zealand. Brought in many years ago from the Chelsea Flower Show when that was OK. 50cm sun or part shade pale-white and huge flowers for a rush. Under the ground, a rhizome that forms a slet. It does not grow too quickly, so it is easy to keep in check. From European forest clearings.
Wonderful in borders and shingle gardens, looks best massed panted. get it while you can. Has some seedlings but no problem, just an advantage.
