Lachenalia aloides

Leaves are slender, dark green and fleshy. In the winter months, 15cm tall spikes of long, tubular, yellow flowers with red tips are produced. Protect from frost. Sun or semi-shade  Keep dryish or dry when dormant in summer. Also a great conservatory or indoor plant. South Africa.
