Ixia viridiflora

South Africa winter rainfall bulb of exquisite colour.  Aqua blue! A spike of up to 12 beautiful turquoise green blooms with contrasting black 'velvety' eye on 80cm plus stems. Full sun easy bulb, but no hard frosts, otherwise good moisture while growing, preferably dry thereafter. If you are in  a frosty clime under the eaves facing north is good  or an interesting pot subject and talking point.
