Iris verna

Iris verna is a lovely small  colony forming iris with deeper as opposed to the surface rhizomes of the similar Iris critstata.  Spring blooming, light to deep blue or violet The sepals have a golden yellow signal and no crested ridges. Strongly fragrant which is a real bonus. 5 cm high.
