A cute coppery orange
The top pair are Chelsea Red, the middle, a single Ben Vane and the others could be Henfield Brilliant, Copper Pin or Chocolate Blotch. (There is one of Copper pin and Henfield Brilliant anyway.)
Rock Roses are versatile shrubby perennials, excellent for growing in the rock garden, or at the front of a hot, sunny border or in sand on poor soils. Ben Vane has a copper orange colour with a brighter splash in the centre and a darker ring round that so quite beautiful. Like the others I can't fathom the names or the variations in red-orange colours. So confusing and the phots don't help.
In saying all that a combination can give a nice variation when planted in drifts. Quiet beautiful and very long loved plants.
It forms a bushy mound of bright green foliage. Plants must have very good drainage, particularly through the winter. Trim plants lightly after blooming to maintain a nice form. Evergreen in most areas. Drought tolerant, once established. Sun. As an edging, pots and rock garden. Very hardy. 30x 60cm
