Gunnera magellanica

A South American rhizomatous plant. Hardy and tough, preferring damper sites. Grows from sea level to 1500m. It can run away, so not for troughs unless it is the only species or the other plant can emerge through the pretty foliage. Unisex/monoecious, sex unknown. Female shown
