Gentianella saxosa
Gentianella saxosa
COMING SOON
Native plant. Narrow leaves and typical gentian (New Zealand version of course) flowers. It flowers late in the season as our gentians are wont to do. This is the only easy one, (the others are pretty near impossible). Coming from Otago it is tolerant of shade and therefore prefers the correspondingly cooler spot as I have found, a lovely garden in Dunedin, where I sourced this plant, has it in the sun. 5 cm without flowers, these don't add much height when they come. Happiest I believe with a little shelter plant, like a real community. Here with Nertia.
