China, Mongolia. Kansu Gentian or Grass-leaved gentian, is a hardy perennial with arching stems and trumpet-shaped, purplish-blue with white-spotted throats that bloom in late summer. Relatively easy-to-grow, suitable for rockeries, gardens, and borders. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade, it will flower better than in part shade. It may self sow slightly near the mother plant but is not at all invasive. Once established it seems to be long lived and undemanding. 25cm.

Coming. Growing on available when they are bigger in late December.
