Flower when young
Large flowers, blue to azure, stemless with pointed petal tips without a green spot in the throat. This belongs to G. acaulis group. like these they prefer slightly acidic soil. No lime. The leaves differ by being exceptionally leathery-shiny and quite large. Stolons let the plant form a good clump quickly. As most others, good re-bloomer and grower. 5-15cm Sunny for good flowers and growth but not dry. Flowering as very young plants.
