Erysimum pulchellum

A small one! Flowers in spring throughout summer and in winter. Scented was well as bright and cheerful this alpine has a prostrate woody framework clothed in narrow green leaves, above which stand short stems of 15 - 25cm of lemon yellow flowers. It spreads slowly and seeds itself too. Good to trim.  Try it in a dry sunny border edge or rock garden and trough.  Very petite all round in comparison to all the bred varieties.
