Eryngium agavifolium

An unusual and a bit spiky, yet vey hardy and beautiful sea holly. Long lived perennial forming rosettes of bright green foliage followed by tall inflorescences of pale slender pom poms. A massed planting in Tokachi Millennium Forest (I haven't been there unfortunately) caught my eye. Certainly a patch looks so much better than just one. Large  plants. 12 cm pot.
