Small bush-let with stiff wiry stems which are attractive all year round, orange/red fruits add interest. A tough little plant for a rock or sand garden. Mine is a sparse flowerer, so fewer berries, but it is a hard dry spot and there is no problem for this plant. It has been in its home for a couple of years and it seems to be hitting its straps, so to speak, well a couple of branches are. Only 15 cm high. Runs about in sand but not a problem if you are relaxed about that sort of thing. Little pot shows immature berries in late winter.
