Digitalis parviflora

An unusual short lived perennial with narrow spires of orange brown flowers that are wonderful in a border or light woodland. Loved by bees. 30-60 cm in the wild. Can tolerate drier sites and sun or shade, these seeds originated from a sunny site with stony soil. This species has amber-coloured and veined flowers and when compared to D. laevigata which is orangey-yellow. Perfect for vertical element.
