Digitalis thapsis 'Spanish Peaks'

Spanish foxglove. A lovely smaller growing variety, having lovely pink pendulous flowers in early summer.  Similar to the common and rather course by comparison, D. purpurea in general appearance but are more compact and perennial. They have foliage covered with yellowish, glandular hairs and are perennial. Hardy, evergreen and will also gently self-sow each year. So you will always have it. The spent flowers can be removed to tidy them up.
