Dianthus erinaceus

Supposedly bright pink if you can find a reference to it, maybe mine is palest pinkish.. no its more mauve to me! It is certianly an unusual absolutely spiny little diminutive hump that will outlive any dianthus in terms of hardiness and most else besides. A vegetable hedgehog.
