Dianthus 'Bombardier'

This medium sized  carnation 'Bombardier' is a miniature perennial that impresses with its abundant flowering and intense smell. Gorgeous deep red flowers in great profusion in summer. The mound is dense and slivery blue.   15-20 cm in height  without flowers and grows 30-40 cm wide. Try it en mass with other carnations for a riot of summer colour or use with phlox etc. Useful in the front of a border or in pots. Or great user red roses. Easy to grow, full sun, stony and andy soil is fine, Quite drought tolerant.
