Dianthus 'Bombardier'

This medium sized  carnation 'Bombardier' is a miniature perennial that impresses with its abundant flowering and intense smell. Gorgeous flowers of deep pink with red flashes,  in great profusion in summer. The mound is dense and slivery blue.   10-15 cm in height  without flowers and grows 30-40 cm wide. Try it en mass with other carnations for a riot of summer colour or use with phlox etc to cover spring and summer. Useful in the front of a border or in pots. Or great user red roses. Easy to grow, full sun, stony and sandy soil is fine, Quite drought tolerant.
