Darmea peltata
Darmea peltata
COMING SOON
Rounded cymes of numerous pink flowers emerge from bare ground in late spring. From the Saxifragacea family. These are followed by large round peltate leaves (the stalk attaches in the middle) which are a delight all summer. These are 6-20 cm awide and tint red in autumn. Slowly spreading, rhizomatous perennial. I have found it to be great in damp margins, in full sun in normal garden settings as well as part shade. Winter dormant.
