A natural hybrid of Daphne cneorum x Daphne petraea found in Lake Garda, once, has been in cultivation ever since. Lovely soft pink flowers, well one plant I have has, the other is more pink but lightening up as it ages, but not as pink as Miss Katie... . 40 cm H, eventually 50cm W prefers some sun, moist but well drained. An excellent rock garden or trough specimen as this is a special plant. The second photo shows the scale of the flowers with a green fingernail. However this is a small cutting with only a small Inflorecense at this stage, I snapped a picture of it instead of the earlier flowering larger plant. What you see is what you get. Its is small! Unfortunately I have only one for sale., I need to keep the rest for cuttings as the raw material is so hard to get. Once you have it, it's all easy with heat and mist. When I have more I can sort out the colours. White now, as per the last photo. |
