A natural hybrid of Daphne cneorum x Daphne petraea found in Lake Garda, once, has been in cultivation ever since. Lovely soft pink flowers, well one plant I have has, the other is more pink but lightening up as it ages, but not as pink as Miss Katie... 40 cm H, eventually 50cm W prefers some sun, moist but well drained. An excellent rock garden or trough specimen as this is a special plant. The second photo shows the scale of the flowers with a green fingernail. Two large ones for sale. I need to keep the rest for cuttings as the raw material is so hard to get. Once you have it, it's all easy with heat and mist. Lime in autumn. |
