From the North Caucasus comes this huge crinkle-leaved clump forming cabbage relative . Dormant in winter. In spring huge leaves unfurl followed in summer by very tall, open sprays of dispersed small white flowers, somewhat akin to a gypsophila. Can get smelly with white cabbage butterfly caterpillars, but I just ignore tham. They prefer even moisture and reasonable soil to perform well. But sun or part shade is fine. 1.8m with flowers, leaves 600 or so.
