Colchicum autumnale album

One bulb has so many flowers. 

Whiter than white, small  goblets in comparison to the huge standard autumn crocus which is really a colchicum. Autumn flowering without any leaves which grow in spring and early summer. 

Light woodland or full sun. Humus rich soil preferred, needs good drainage. A special addition to a bulb bed or rock garden. 20cm
