Chiastophyllum oppositifolium syn Umbilicus oppositifolius

An attractive alpine succulent, another treasure from the Caucusus. It is a hardy, prostrate evergreen growing to 25 cm with large fleshy leaves and racemes of tiny, sulphur-yellow flowers making a wonderful display. Dappled shade preferred.
