Arenarias are lovely forgiving rock and trough plants.
Apennines, Pyrenees and North West Africa. Low growing, loose mats of with fine, linear leaves. covered in 1-1.5cm white flowers from spring to autumn. Found among limestone rocks and screes in dry areas to about 2000m. Sun any soil. 5-10cm.
