Umbels of small, delicate white flowers a perfect shade plant for spring.

Cow parsley, Queen Ann's Lace or Wild Chervil is distinguished by its hairy leaves, hairy ribbed stems.  fern like foliage that turns a deeper maroon colour the more sun it gets. A biennial or short-lived perennial. Great in borders or meadows. Moist soil great but it works anyway.  A lovely sight under reddish bark multi stemmed trees. I have it under Parrotia which is lovely too as the twisted, largely horizontal, limbs emerge from the both of dark ferny leaves, the flowers are a bright bonus .  90cm.
