Androsace studiosorum

Rich deep pink flowers above hairy silver rosette crowns. Like a more robust form of sarmentosa. A little slower growth than A. sarmentosa and with shorter flowering stems you would think that this was an inferior plant but no, this has glorious rosettes and just as flamboyant flowers but a brighter pink.  These crowns benefit from resting on a gritty or stony surface in a free draining area like your alpine rock garden, crevice garden or container.

Here they are bullet proof, but obviously with good drainage and nestled in shingle.
