Agrimonia eupatoria

This plant forms hardy and tough clumps that are about 50cm tall. Yellow arching flowers all summer. In the rose family, so divided leaves and hooked seeds which means it is distributed by birds. A great meadow or border plant. It is from Europe, North and South Africa, North Asia. Naturally on calcareous soils, but easy and fairly drought tolerant. Sun to part shade.
