A bit of a gem. It is neat and only about 70cm, making a sound clump. More vigorous in damp soil, mine is in a spot that can be dry in summer. A magnificent plantthat is an easy Inula to fit into the garden but it can be invasive when happy evidently. The whole plant is covered in hairs! The (8cm) flowers are lovely but they are almost nicer when in bud when the hairy (almost fluffy) bracts are showy. Sun or part shade. Loved by butterflies and bees. Same ray flowers as its large cousin Inula magnifica. Pick your plant for the spot you have!
