| Robust subshrub, low-growing, forming large patches in the wild. Stoutly branched stems that creep or ascend. Seems fairly tough in semi-shade to keep it cool here in Canterbury. Narrow range endemic from the mouth of the Clutha River to Waikaia inland. Even on the coast. Small plants in 7cm pots.
